Perhaps we went a little overboard this year, I mean Santa did- right? Perhaps he didn't, we don't have a lot of friends with children so we're not really sure how to gauge this part. We did know that Singer didn't have a lot of age appropriate toys around as she's grown and her skills have greatened. So we went ahead and stocked up. Santa came down the chimney and left her presents old school style right there set up and ready to play. She was napping when he did so, because we called him to let him know we would be leaving town the next day to visit family for a few days. Bless that fat old man. So easy to work with.
Boot stockings. I still haven't found fabric or a particular stocking that I like that isn't 50 bucks a pop.
Singer woke up as soon as David and I finished opening our gifts. We showed her what Santa left before she opened her 5 gifts from us.
The hammer ended up being the star of the show.
Hawke has that same hammer and ball toy-- its easily one of his favorites! I love wood toys and she got a wonderful selection from Santa. Santa does it old school style, too, leaving all his presents in a nice spread for Hawke, too.
