What? You missed that blog? Girlfriend please, Pinterest is the most amazing thing ever. Its like some genius married cutting out your favorite magazine clippings in ninth grade and virtual organization folders. Then added a dash of adulthood with recipes, exercise, photography, and whatever else you love. It's the filet mignon of internet eye candy.

Coffee table inspirations. I haven't found anything to permanently decorate this beast with yet, but I'm getting there.
Layered bedding. I tried to take advantage of Cyber Monday and get some beautiful things to make up our much needed new king size bed. There's a baby, cat, husband and me currently sleeping on a 15 year queen size mattress. She's teething and doesn't much make it past 4am without the aid of some serious nursing.
With super sizing comes new linens. I already have a proportionate down comforter, but I'm looking for the rest of the loot by Wednesday when it arrives. Ugh, that's tomorrow.
I love the layered look. I've veered away from searching for a generic bed in a bag and plan on making our own layers of comfort with separates that I find on sale. I'm trying to dress the house up in to a grown up retreat without being stuffy. I've erred on the side of masculinity for David's sake and I like it. But there's still a lot of work to do.
Garden Plans: I've mentioned that our home is about to sink in to the earth. With that comes some backyard grading and front yard hole filling. Its really an irritating situation, the sellers didn't disclose that this place can flood badly if the right conditions occur. We're past the statute of limitations, so we're stuck with a flooding yard. We have plans to sell this place one day. Brinsons don't lie- so we gotta fix it and
We need to move our garden as well, my tomatoes simply can't get enough sun there, and its virtually impossible to keep the dogs out of it. What I really mean is that we need more space for a growing family of walkers. She's getting there folks, Singer wants to walk really bad. We imagine she'll want to play outside on grass as well. Pushed back due to the weather, next week starts our biggest project to date. Filling in the hole mentioned above, grading the backyard, planting grass, and creating spaces- like flower beds and a new garden area up on a hill outside the fence.
Dumping. Kids love to dump things. Singer is no exception. I've been learning about creating a home that is (almost) fully accessible to children. A key point about this practice that I love is that some advocates make sure that it focuses heavily on teaching children to clean up after themselves while curing their obsession to make what most adults view as a mess. I've been working hard in theory and physically to get rid of all the useless clutter, in order to make sure we don't grow out of this house sooner than later.
Spaghetti Squash. It's on the menu tonight, dear. Hopefully you'll enjoy it this time.
